Register For This Race Online 2012 Spirit Challenge
This is a fundraising event for the Yampa Valley Autism, proceeds from this race will be made as a donation to YVAP in the name of Jenna Gruben Morrill.
What: 10k and 5k running races on paved roads with the 5K having a short section on wide trail. This is the 1st race of the year for the Steamboat Springs Running Series and a great warm up to summer! The Spirit Challenge is a long standing race in the SSRS and gives runners a chance to get those feet moving after a long winter in the Yampa Valley. Come out and support this fun local race.

Where: Steamboat Springs Middle School, 5100 Amethyst Drive
Registration: Pre-register online or at Ski Haus in Steamboat Springs. Races are open to all ages. T-shirt with registration. Register early to ensure an entry gift and please remember that post race food is for runners and volunteers only.
Awards: Prizes abound for racers and volunteers due to the continued generosity of our sponsors and supporters throughout Routt County. Announcement of the top three positions in each category of 5k Men, 5k Women, 10k Men, 10k Women will be made immediately following the completion of the event. The remaining gifts will be awarded by raffle.
Course Descriptions:
- 5k run is a scenic, rolling on and off road loop
- 10k run is a rolling out and back through Strawberry Park.
Aid Stations: Provided at 10K turnaround
Pets: Leashed pets welcome.
